NFL Week 6 Betting

The 1972 Miami Dolphins enjoyed champagne this past Monday, as they have done every year since they went undefeated. With losses by the Bills and Eagles this past weekend, there are no more undefeated teams, which means the Dolphins' incredible accomplishment will live in infamy a little longer.

The Eagles’ loss to Denver, 21 - 17, was quite a surprise to everyone. Philly was up 17 - 3 going to the fourth quarter, and apparently had everything working as a 5 - 0 record was in sight. The Broncos scored the last 18 points of the game, and shocked the Eagles fans who had to drive home sad and disappointed! Awwww.

So what’s in store for Week 6 of the NFL season?

The Eagles have a quick turnaround and head to New York to face the G-Men on Thursday night. As expected, the road team is favored at -7.5, expected to regroup and get back in the win column after the disappointing loss.

Speaking of the Broncos, they are also headed to New York this weekend for a battle with the Jets, who can’t get out of their own way this season! Denver is also favored by a TD on Sunday.

The Rams head to Baltimore, and if you haven’t heard yet, the Ravens defense? STINKS! Another 44 points went on the scoreboard this past weekend against Houston, and the Ravens' season is almost already over at 1 - 4. Derrick Henry has gone four straight games without a 50-yard rushing effort, and the Ravens’ offense looks just as lethargic as their defense. The total is 44, and the Rams might just score all 44 of those points alone, so PLOW THAT OVER!! (gift from the Rainmaker)

Seattle and Jacksonville clash in the Sunshine State on Sunday, and who could have anticipated this being a big game? The 4 - 1 Jags and 3 - 2 Seahawks have a pick ‘em line for Sunday’s affair, so get in there and make that coinflip decision!

Are you busy on Sunday night? Get unbusy, because the Lions and Chiefs are playing the Sunday Night Game of the Week! The Chiefs are favored at home, but should they be?

NCAA Football Week 7 Betting

Week 7 of the NCAA Football season started early this week with a pair of Wednesday night games. With four games on the Thursday slate and another trio on Friday, it all leads to a massive Saturday schedule that we’re all looking forward to.

Among the big games of the weekend, Alabama and Mizzou meet in the Midwest with SEC supremacy at stake. The Tigers are 5 - 0 and 1 - 0 in SEC play and are ranked 14th in the Nation climbing toward a top-10 showing. Alabama is already there waiting for them holding the 8th spot in the polls, and no, ESPN Gameday isn’t here this weekend.

Instead, the boys headed to Eugene, Oregon for the big clash between the Ducks and Hoosiers. A pair of 5 - 0 teams will battle it out, and the Ducks are favored to get a home win, but EJ says, if you want to give Indiana +7.5 points, GIVE HIM THE HOOSIERS to cover that!

The Red River Rivalry is now an SEC battle after so many years in the Big 12, which means Texas and Oklahoma have a big game this weekend. The 5 - 0 sooners are slight underdogs against the Arch Manning-led Horns, and Texas certainly needs this win or else a 3 - 3 record will essentially knock them completely out of the playoff picture.

Speaking of the Big 12, BYU (5 - 0) takes on Arizona (4 - 1), and a pair of 4 - 1 teams will also square off when Arizona State takes on Utah late in Provo.

MLB Playoffs: Championship Series On Horizon

The Toronto Blue Jays have advanced to the ALCS, and they await the winner of the series between Seattle and Detroit. Friday night in Seattle will feature the fifth and final game in the ALDS, and the Tigers are favored at -140 to find a road win. Ej the Rainmaker has already posted int he discord that Detroit’s run is done, and the poor finish to the regular season is going to carry over into a loss in game 5 on the road. Take Seattle at +120 to upset the Tigers and meet the Blue Jays in Toronto when the ALCS starts next week.

The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers are each a win away from reaching the NLCS, and Thursday night has both series playing out with game 4. The Phillies salvaged their series with the Dodgers last night, and picked up a win to force game 4 tonight.

Christopher Sanchez and Tyler Glasnow will take the mound tonight, so is it over or will Philly return home for Game 5?

Milwaukee also let a chance to sweep the Cubs go by on Wednesday, and they’ll have to try again tonight. Neither team has announced their starting pitcher yet, so we will all find out together at game time!

This Week Inside the Octagon: UFC Fight Night on Saturday

We’re headed to Farmasi Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and the locals will be roaring for their hometown boy, Charles Oliveira.

Oliveira (35 - 11) will take on Polska native Mateusz Gamrot (25 - 3), and it’s a coinflip decision from the line setters. At -110, pick your guy and cash the ticket. This lightweight main event has Oliveira hoping to go 6 - 0 in his home country, but his last outing was a disappointing one losing a chance to regain the title against Ilia Topuria early in the first round.

WTA / ATP Season’s Winding Down:

There is a month left to play before the end-of-year events on the WTA and ATP Tours, and five of the eight potential spots for the WTA Finals have already been filled. Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys secured their berths this past week, joining Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, and Coco Gauff.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are the lone pair to have already qualified for the ATP Finals, so the next month will determined a lot on the men’s side of the tour.

NHL Regular Season Underway:

Drop the Puck! The NHL regular season is officially underway!

The Florida Panthers are the favorites to win a third consecutive Stanley Cup, and the +750 odds for them to do it is quite nice. Tempting as it may be, winning three-in-a-row is an accomplishment we have not seen since the early 1980s, when the NY Islanders pulled it off.

Edmonton and Dallas sit right behind the Cats at +800 and +850, but we are just getting started with the new campaign, and there is a lot of hockey to come!

WNBA Finals: Mercury On the Brink of Elimination

The Las Vegas Aces are on the brink of a Championship, which would make three titles in the last four seasons.

After A’ja Wilson buried a last-second shot to take the win in game 3, the Phoenix Mercury are in the inevitable position of making an incredible comeback down 3 - 0 in the WNBA Finals. Friday night will either see an end to the finals or the continuation of the series, and the Aces arrive in Phoenix as slight favorites to wrap this puppy up in four games with the sweep!
