NFL Week 9 Betting

Is the NFL season that close to being half over already? How time goes by!

Week 9 of the NFL campaign kicks off on Thursday night in Miami with the Dolphins hosting the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson is expected to be back in uniform for the Ravens after missing over a month due to a nagging hamstring injury.

The line setters like the Ravens’ chances on Thursday night, setting them as -7.5 point favorites on the road, despite both teams with only two wins this year.

It’s a strange slate of NFL action this Sunday, as the high-profile game of the weekend features the Bills and Chiefs from Orchard Park. Kansas City is favored by a point on the early line, but #17 will have his say at home!

The only other game with teams carrying winning records into the weekend is the Colts vs Steelers affair.

NCAA Football Week 10 Betting

For the third week in a row, we have had college football games being played from Tuesday through Saturday, and what a wonderful time of year it is! Between the NFL and NCAA football schedules, there is a football game on every day of the week, and that will continue into November.

Conference USA action started week 10 of the NCAA football schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday, and tonight we have one American Athletic Conference clash with a Sun Belt Conference battle.

After a trio of Friday night games, the Saturday slate is filled with opportunities to find the dough. Among the 43 FBS games scheduled for Saturday is the BigX11 matchup between Utah and Cincinnati. ESPN Gameday will be in Salt Lake City to get the crowd in the mood, but the Bearcats have yet to lose a conference game. The line setters see that changing in a big way, giving the Bearcats +10 points!

Indiana puts their perfect season on the line in Maryland, in what is expected to be a thumping. Favored by three touchdowns, #2 Indiana is hoping #1 Ohio State struggles with Penn State in the Horseshoe this weekend. Penn State and Ohio State were pre-season favs to battle for a Big 10 championship, but the Lions are 0 - 4 in conference play and out of the picture!

MLB World Series: Jays A Win From Third Title!

The Toronto Blue Jays will head back home with a 3 - 2 lead in the World Series, and the Halloween night crowd in Canada will be rocking Rogers Centre on Friday night! The trophy will be in the building, and the Dodgers are in jeopardy of failing to repeat as champs.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto has the unenviable task of taking the mound in an elimination situation for the Dodgers on Friday night, and Kevin Gausman will get the nod for Toronto with hopes to seal the series and avoid a game 7 on Saturday.

The Dodgers arrive in Toronto favored to level the World Series at 3 - 3, the line setters offering -140 odds on the road team to force a game 7. Last we heard, Ej, one of our resident Playmakers on the BU App, has sent out Toronto to win game 6 with plus-money attached to the action! Ej tends to do that more often than not, so he expects the series to end on Friday night, with Toronto celebrating their third World Series win, and first since 1993.

This Week Inside the Octagon: UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs. Onama

We’re headed back to Vegas, baby! The UFC Apex will play host to Fight Night on November 1, as we enter a new month.

A pair of featherweights will contest the main event, as American southpaw Steve Garcia (18-5) takes on Ugandan David Onama (14-2). The line is relatively even, with the American only slightly favored at -125, but the Mean Machine has won his last six bouts, brimming with confidence!

Onama is 3 - 0 and 4 - 1 in his last 5 outings, as four of those affairs have gone the distance with judges deciding the victor.

NBA Season Rolling On

With close to a handful of games in the books to open the 2025-26 NBA campaign, only four teams remain undefeated with tightly contested battles night after night in the Association. The Bulls and 6ers are the last of the undefeateds from the Eastern Conference, and the Thunder are 5 - 0 with the Spurs at 4 - 0 on their heels in the Western Conference standings.

The Pacers, Nets, and Pelicans are still battling for win #1 of the season, and if you haven’t caught on yet, scoring is up, defense is down, and the totals have been a good place to cash tickets in the early going of the new campaign. The Thunder and Spurs will both be home on Thursday night as part of a four-game NBA schedule, and that Warriors vs Bucks game won’t be disappointing either.

Soccer Weekend: MLS Playoffs, EPL, and El Clasico!

The MLS Playoffs continue into November, and 16 teams are battling in the first round of the postseason. The first legs of the Round 1 battles from each conference are in the books, and by November 3, we will arrive at the Conference Semifinals with eight clubs left chasing the MLS Cup!

Last weekend’s El Clasico was certainly a wild affair in the first half, but the second frame of the match was extremely uneventful. After an exciting 2 - 1 opening half, Real Madrid carried that lead to a 2 - 1 win at home, and now have a 5-point advantage in the La Lgiva table headed to Round 11 of the campaign this weekend.

Arsenal has yet to allow a goal in their last three EPL outings, and it has propelled them to 22 points atop the Premier League table. With only 3 goals allowed through the first 10 matches of the season, Arsenal has also scored the second-most goals (16) in EPL action.

WTA Year-End Championships: Field of 8 Ready, Set, Go!

The field of 8 is set for the WTA Finals, and the Year-End Championships bring big pressure, big money, and a damn big trophy for the last woman standing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For the second straight year, the year-end event is in Riyadh, and defending champ Coco Gauff is in the field again after a massively successful run last year.

Gauff banked a record $4.805 million purse in last year's event, and it’s been some time since we’ve had a repeat winner of this major tournament. No, it’s not one of the four Major Tournaments on the tour, but for these eight ladies, this is bigger than a Major, the Olympics, or anything else on tour!

ATP Finals A Week Away: 6 In, 2 Spots Left To Fill

The field of 8 men set to compete in Italy is almost complete! Seven spots are filled, and two positions remain for the ATP Finals in Turin, as play will begin on November 9th with more big money, big names, and respect on the line.

Three of the seven players in the field clinched their spots in the event this week, as Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, and Alex De Minaur joined Carlos, Novak, Jannik, and Alex Zverev!

Lorenzo Musetti and Félix Auger-Aliassime will likely consume the last spot, which we will find out in just a few days!
