Going into Week 4, the Seahawks and Cardinals presented us with a heart-stopping encounter ending in close victory for Seattle 23-20. It had been those sorts of games where every possession felt crucial and kept glued to the fans until the very last second.

Seattle's quarterback, Sam Darnold, may not have gathered big stats, but he played the game smartly and steadily throughout. One of the brightest moments of the match was the way Darnold operated with rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba perhaps was not so active in the first rounds of the match, but he garnered all the attention in the last quarter, where he caught four very timely passes for nearly 80 yards. Those receptions swiftly carried Seattle's offense into kicking range, which then came down to Jason Myers kicking a clutch 52-yarder with nothing left in the clock-a-miss that would have been described in the dreams had it not tottered a bit before crashing through the uprights.

Zach Charbonnet as the running back was another prominent reason why Seattle’s offense was functioning. He just kept driving right through Arizona's defense, continuously battering them with runs. The standout moment came when he walked in a one-yard touchdown after capping a long steady 90-yard march. It was a moment that really showcased Seattle's ability to pound the ball; they were not just about flash passes or spectacular plays but were also able to really control the clock and the game.

On the other side of the ball, which is the Arizona side, Kyler Murray showed flashes of his dangerous prowess. Quick legs and fast thinking kept the Cardinals in the game even when things were not looking great. The Cardinals' biggest moment came during a beautiful touchdown grab from Marvin Harrison Jr., who really elevated to snatch it over Seattle's best defender in the closing minutes. That catch quietly brought Arizona back into the game for the 20-20 tie to set up an amazing finish.

But some key mistakes affected Arizona. A missed 53-yard field goal earlier by Jason Myers had given more chances to Arizona to fight back. Then, the Cardinals themselves made little blunders: a kickoff too short in the ground, thus leaving Seattle with good field position. Seattle seized that moment, marching down the field with very clutch Smith-Njigba and Charbonnet plays to set up those winning kick.

The game swung when big catches were made, timed runs commenced, and the coolness under pressure got practiced. There were definitely highs and lows for both teams, although Seattle was able to keep its cool in their most critical moments. Now, the defenses played their roles efficiently in determining if the offenses would move, forcing Botanical hasty decisions and squandered opportunities particularly out of Arizona early on.

To boil it down, the win for Seattle was set up by a powerful combination of steady quarterback play, strong running, and some big moments from their rookie receiver. Arizona stood tall, but Murray's evasion and Harrison Jr.'s phenomenal catches left them ill-fated by the little errors and missed kicks. This was a classic NFC West affair- where every single play mattered, and being able to capitalize on poor opportunities struck the difference in favor of Seattle.

This game obviously shows how important it is to utilize every offense opportunity, especially where the score is close. Players like Darnold, Smith-Njigba, Charbonnet, Harrison Jr., and Myers showed that sometimes a few key plays could break a match's very balance in deciding who will walk away with a win.
